Dicentra's Garden

Dicentra spectabilis is the botanical name for the common bleeding heart. Though I might be common, I'm not much of a bleeding heart. Not in the political sense, anyway. I chose the name because I thought it sounded cool. And because I like to grow them.

Fisking Alinsky: A Series

Wherein I analyze and refute Saul Alinsky's Rule for Radicals point by point, over at the Protein Wisdom Pub, where anybody can summarize the news.

The series, in toto:

Part One — Prologue
Part Two — The Purpose
Part Three — The Ideology of Change
Part Four — Class Distinctions: The Trinity
Part Five — Of Means and Ends
Part Six — A Word about Words and The Education of an Organizer
Part Seven — Communication
Part Eight — In the Beginning
Part Nine — Tactics
